EUROSAC’s annual congress brings together key players from the paper sack industry over several days, combining informative working sessions and business networking. Usually around 100 delegates attend, coming from European and international paper sack factories, but also from partner companies such as paper or machine suppliers. Created in 1952, EUROSAC is the European federation based in Paris, which brings together the European multilayer paper sack industry. For over half a century EUROSAC has been committed to protecting and promoting the entrepreneurial sector of its members, undertaking distinctive actions. The Federation detects and reviews activities and initiatives in areas of interest to our sector, whether technical or environmental, and actively contributes to these prevailing themes and emerging issues. In terms of lobbying and research, the organization works closely with CEPI Eurokraft in the ESPACE program (EUROSAC/CEPI Eurokraft Environmental Strategy and Communication Programme). Together we provide valuable guidelines, studies and infographics, among others: LCI & Carbon Footprint, Food Contact, Dust Free Paper Sacks, etc. EUROSAC represents a forum for its members to define common positions and a place for the exchange of skills and knowledge, in full compliance with the rules established by Article 101 of the TFEU (Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union)
